After years of neglect and vandalism we will shortly begin restoring the old abandoned fishing hut that sits just downstream of the island.
This was one of the last big projects that Roger and Jill never quite got the opportunity to complete before Roger passed away last year.
Sited perfectly on the lower Ingestone stretch, the new hut will serve as a welcome bolthole for members needing a quick break after fishing the island swims, Farm Stream and Bridge Pool.
Jake and his crew will be working on-site to complete the re-build during the last two weeks of May.
