As the coarse fishing season draws to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on another wonderful year spent on the banks at Ingestone. It’s been a season of early morning casts, tales shared among friends, and the quiet magic that only fishing can bring.
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our members for your continued support, respect for the river, and camaraderie that makes this syndicate what it is. Whether you landed a personal best or simply enjoyed the peace of the water, your passion keeps our stretch of the Wye special.
But as we say goodbye to another season, we also take a moment to acknowledge a great loss. Paddy, Ray Harris's faithful canine companion passed away recently. Paddy was more than just a pet – he was a fixture on the riverbank, always by Ray’s side. Many of you will have shared a kind word or a gentle pat with him over the years, and we know he will be greatly missed.
Ray, we are thinking of you. Your loss is felt by everyone. We know that no words can truly ease the pain, but please know that we are here for you – just as Paddy was always there for you.

As the river flows on and the seasons change, we look forward to welcoming you all back in the summer.
Until then, tight lines and warm memories to carry us through.
Hannah, Dom, Ray & Ray
