The wait is finally over. The coarse fishing season opening day is upon us, and we are absolutely thrilled to welcome both our returning syndicate members and some fresh faces to the banks of Ingestone for the start of the new season.
There is nothing quite like the anticipation of the first cast of the year, and Ray W has been working hard behind the scenes to make sure everything is perfect for your return. Mother Nature seems to be playing ball, too, and the river levels are looking great for the start of the season.
We are incredibly pleased to officially welcome back our syndicate leader Ray H to the water. Ray has been away from the banks recently, spending his time caring for his wife, Geraldine, who we are glad to report is doing remarkably well. Ray, the place hasn't been the same without you, and everyone here at Ingestone is absolutely delighted to see you back where you belong. Thank you for everything you do for the syndicate.
As expected, the first two weeks of the season are looking busy. To ensure everyone gets a fair look-in and we manage the pressure on the water, it is important that everyone tries to make the effort and sign in online before heading down. The old signing-in book is still there in its box outside the stables, but signing in online really does help - it allows us and your fellow anglers to see exactly how many people are likely to be on the banks. It keeps things transparent and enjoyable for everyone.
For those looking for a bit on on-site luxury, Lavender Cottage is looking absolutely beautiful. Fresh new bedding, towels and outside garden furniture have been added and its adjacent wildflower meadow has a beautiful winding path through it. Not to mention the aircon that keeps Lavender wonderfully cool in the hot summer months. Surrounded by stunning scenery, it’s the perfect retreat. We still have a few remaining weeks available for bookings this season. If you want a luxurious stay right on the doorstep of some incredible fishing, please get in touch.
Tight lines and stay safe!
