The wait is finally over, and the new fishing season is about to kick off. After what feels like an eternal winter and spring that seemed determined to transform the UK into a giant water park, we’re thrilled to welcome you all back to Ingestone, new faces and familiar ones.

Despite the relentless rain, we have worked hard to ensure the river is in prime condition. Thanks to some serious swim clearing and bank tidying the river is looking beautiful. The recent downpours may have tested our resolve, but they've also refreshed the waters, creating an ideal habitat for our beloved fish.

The work at Ingestone will continue as it always does - track maintenance, tree pruning, bank restoration, swim clearing, mowing and of course Hannah trying to keep the huts stocked with biscuits.

We saw some fabulous catches at the end of last season, with stunning barbel and chub - now it's time to grab your gear, don your wellies, and make your way again to Ingestone for what promises to be another fantastic season. Whether you're here for the serene mornings by the water or the thrill of the catch, this season is all about making memories and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow fishing enthusiasts.
