Another fantastic Cock Salmon weighing in at 18lbs, caught today by Jim Morison from the Gauge Pool on a Yellow and Black SHFC.
"... Length 36" from the Gauge Pool. A splendid 30 yard initial run against a tight clutch. Mindful of a conversation with Alex, I was all set to follow it downstream, but the fish turned and headed upstream rather than go into the fast water. The fish has a minor lower lip wound visible in the photo. (I had hooked it in the scissors). I wonder if this is the same fish that Alex lost ?..."
